This week we had the honor of presenting work we did with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana (BBBSCI) at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America National Conference in Orlando, Florida. Drew Linn, Darcey Palmer-Shults (CEO, BBBSCI) and Amy Pomeranz Essley (Chief Program Officer, BBBSCI) took the stage to present the features and benefits of the Big App – software we created for BBBSCI – and the impact it is already having on our local community since its launch in March 2016. Drew, Darcey and Amy highlighted the history of our relationship with BBBSCI and both the Big App and AppToGive, as well as our vision for the Big App’s future.
The Big App has already received outstanding reviews from current Bigs and support staff and received very positive feedback from their presentation. Several remarks of “Wow!”, “Amazing!”, “Revolutionary!” could be heard in the conversations afterward. We are fortunate that the Conference committee allowed us to share our work and how the Big App could benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters organizations all over the country. While we always stand behind and are proud of the work we do with all our clients, we are especially proud to contribute to this impactful group and look forward to furthering the vision.
We wouldn’t be ourselves if we didn’t brag to you that our very own BBBSCI team received the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America Quality Award! The quality award recognizes hard work of agency leadership and staff in providing high-quality programming for the children they serve. Congratulations to them and a big thank you for bringing such an honor back to Central Indiana.
