As December 1st draws near, many are making preparations for one of the biggest charity events of the year, #GivingTuesday! A global day of giving, #GivingTuesday unites charities from all over the world to help those in need and kick off the holiday season with love and generosity.
For the second year in a row, WDD is proud to partner with local organizations as we join this global effort. We hope to make a lasting impact in our community and give back to those who mean so much to us by joining Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana, Riley Children’s Foundation and Youth Mentoring Initiative for each of their fundraising events on #GivingTuesday.
We are excited to announce that all three of these organizations will be using WDD’s newly released “AppToGive“, an online fundraising application that creates a unique, live giving experience. Utilizing social media, AppToGive unites donors in one massive fundraising event. We refer to it as a modern day telethon.
Stay tuned these next few weeks leading up to #GivingTuesday as we focus on our partners, highlight their causes and show ways we are helping make a lasting impact in our community.
