What do you do at Counterpart?
I am a software developer and one of the owners.
What inspires you?
At work, I like a good challenge/problem to solve. To be able to take a process or a project that needs done and find a clean, slick, fun, and interesting way to go about solving it. I enjoy the puzzle side of the job.
What’s the best thing about your job?
I like working with people and collaborating to try to solve issues.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I am an active member of the Circle City Curling Club. I have also assisted almost 500 take offs in hot air balloons.
What is your proudest moment at Counterpart?
The launch of a product is always a big deal. Months or sometimes years of effort, blood, sweat, and tears (the whole deal) and then actually getting to flip the switch, turn it on, and send the email to the user group, whoever it may be, is always a good feeling.
What are you passionate about?
Tv, movies (especially Star Wars), golf, curling, and hot air ballooning.
If you could visit anywhere in the world you’ve never been, where would you go?
New Caledonia, South Pacific.
If you could pick one superpower, what would it be?
Superspeed so I can avoid traffic.

TV Show: Buffy
