Last week Counterpart was recognized at Centric’s Day of Innovation as a 2018 Indiana Innovation Award winner! We’re grateful to work on an endless number of cool and impactful projects, and we’re especially proud that two of those projects were selected from a record number of submissions.
Centric’s Indiana Innovation Awards are the only state-wide, broad-based innovation awards. The awards recognize individuals and organizations who are successfully leading the innovation charge in the Hoosier state. An executive panel of judges selected 10 of Indiana’s best new innovations from a record 56 finalists! Winners represent a range of Indiana industries including manufacturing, retail, agriculture, technology and more.
Here’s a look at our two partner projects that were honored—
In collaboration with BBBSCI and Crafted, we built The Big App to equip Big Brothers Big Sisters matches (Bigs + Littles) with activities and experiences that intentionally foster and work toward positive youth outcomes. On the front end, The Big App is a tool that empowers Bigs to approach time spent with Littles more intentionally by providing activities and events tied to researched-based “thriving indicators”. On the back end, the BBBSCI team leverages a range of key metrics to make data-driven decisions around helping match relationships thrive.

ScholarTrack is a one-stop-shop for Indiana students’ state financial aid needs, including the 21st Century Scholarship and other need- and merit-based aid. The platform guides users through the entire process of applying for and maintaining state financial aid. On the back end, ScholarTrack enables the CHE team to manage and report on an endless amount of student, school, and financial aid data in a seamless and automated workflow.
