At Counterpart, we’ve made it our mission to focus on what we can do to invest in our community’s youth. Over the past few years, we’ve doubled down in this mission and increased our investment in three local efforts: Youth Mentoring Initiative (YMI), Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana (BBBSCI) and Riley Children’s Foundation (Riley).
As you’ve read over the past three weeks, these organizations have been making a significant impact in our community. All three are gearing up for the biggest #GivingTuesday campaign ever–and all three are using our new fundraising platform: AppToGive!
AppToGive is the result of last year’s effort to maximize the impact of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana’s inaugural #GivingTuesday campaign. After nearly tripling their goal of donations and funds raised, we decided to invest in a development team to rebuild the platform into one that can be used by any number of organizations as well as add enhancements to maximize the experience. AppToGive is being taken on a trial run for YMI, BBBSCI & Riley’s campaigns this year. It is expected to go into full production early next year, allowing any non-profit to sign up and use the system to raise important funds for their cause.
What is AppToGive?
AppToGive is a web-based fundraising application platform. We leverage technology to create a real-time entertainment and giving experience. Organizations create custom, one-page fundraising campaigns that not only engage existing donors but use social media to capitalize on new donor acquisition. We call it a modern day, digital telethon.
How is AppToGive different from other crowdfunding apps?
While other crowdfunding apps are simply asking for money, AppToGive offers donors a live and engaging experience. With modules that allow for celebrity chats, video feeds and live Facebook and Twitter streams, AppToGive joins new and repeat supporters for one collaborative effort. Donors can see real time donation updates and activities on nearly any device—desktops, laptops, phones, tablets, etc.
Who can use ApptToGive?
Anyone who wants to raise money for a good cause! Our users love that AppToGive allows them to personalize their page to align with their organization’s brand and mission.
