The Indy Chamber Ambassadors are a group of business leaders/owners who volunteer their time to help the business community connect, expand, and thrive. They make meaningful business introductions at events; they welcome new businesses by attending ribbon cuttings and open houses and they make welcome phone calls to new Chamber members. The Ambassadors also meet monthly at different business locations in the 9-county region to stay connected to each other while learning about other businesses and industries. The leadership team is elected each Fall to carry out the duties and strategic plan for the coming year.
Lauren Dodrill stood out as the #1 Indy Chamber Ambassador Volunteer in 2022 for going above and beyond the call of duty. The Indy Chamber was particularly busy with events in 2022. In addition to the regular series of events, the Indy Chamber hosted the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives Conference held in downtown Indianapolis in July of 2022. It was a major undertaking and Ambassadors were needed morning, noon and night. Lauren was there the entire time. We aren’t 100% sure, but we suspect she slept in a back room just so nothing slipped through the cracks.
For that reason, and for so many more, it was an easy decision to name Lauren Dodrill the #1 Indy Chamber Ambassador Volunteer for 2022. We remain forever grateful.
